Black Panther

Month of sobriety causing vivid dreams
Month off of school man I've seen amazing things
The sunset over the water is a never tiring beautiful scene
RIP to my brothers dying too young, what a terrible scene
Red and blue lights are a reminder of the black men’s burden even though my record clean
No justice no peace say that shit with a scream
Continuing the legacy of the man who said “I have a dream”
Yea mamma told me put the hood down, “Matthew don’t sag your jeans”
The system is just set up as a repressive machine
Black success black excellence all the good shit they won’t show on the screen
Two of us two of them gets the point across New York, even though it might be obscene
But really when the uniform is removed you get just a man
Who because of our pigment thinks of us as less than
Travesty, mankind should be one big fam
But we ain’t so caution to those who aren't part of my team
Dare to infringe n’ you’ll get fucked up like Denzel’s enemies
Revenge is the great equalizer, minimizing the power of the authorities
Yea return all Power to the People
