Last few weeks been like where did my mind go
missing someone that I ain't never seen before
Never even kissed her, trying to give her the world
but her heartbeat is golden, her eyes are like pearls
all I've got is words
But I know how to use em to brighten
enlighten your soul
don't get me wrong, it's already artwork
just let me add to the mural
but first I want to know a couple things
like the things that give you hope
and the things that you believe
the things that make you special
and the things that make you proud
you said you wanted real
so while we're up in these clouds
Take me where no one's allowed
where you keep your insecurities
hide your regret and your shame
and show me the wall where you write up all the names
of the casualties of battles lost
and the war we're all still fighting
Take me to the nights you've stayed up crying
so you don't have to be alone
the scars you've earned form lessons learned
But I'd take away the pain
just so I can understand from how you've hurt
I feel you tho, I mean if you feel hesitant
cuz I do too a little bit
but just not enough
because your good saw mine
and when mine saw yours
I fell to the floor
and I was like..
