Light at the End
• Written by LOUIE2G
As I look up to the sky,
I wonder why the moment of truth,
As I walk right into the booth,
I would like to know,
Where does all the time go,
I spent a third of my life just writing rhymes on the down low.
And How come, Not everybody hates me like Malcom.
Getting so much praise in these days when I released my very first song,
And after that, I'm still coming strong. Writing bars every day of the week,
And I know I would have stopped if I was weak. Some days are just bleak
but persevere when days get severe and you will see the good men speak.
I'll admit, I'm not exactly rich, but I stayed alive, and be grateful, 'cuz there are no extra lives.
And I do commit, to this lifestyle, but this ain't as good as it gets.
And when things don't always go as planned you need a back up,
Like a hunch back in a bathroom you need to stand up.
Look up to god and trust him, never question, your chances aren't slim.
The thing is, do what you want and practice, Then you would afford the nights with blankets.
And you people out there who classless with no school. That's madness,
Sorry that life for you is too disastrous, A lot of times in life, you feel a lot of pain and sadness,
But like some say the world is alive on balance.
