Sippin' Haterade

My mind's open like a book when I'm sober,
I'm thinking too much, I roll hemp just to close up,
People always asking if I like being high,
Long story short I tread clouds to survive,
Choking on the water droplets falling from the sky,
Reading all the Youtube comments, bawling out my eyes,
Humanity is gone, now it's all about “mine”,
People wanna be God but the power is inside, pride
People always lying(lion) to survive,
The truth can set you free, cliché but its right
If you wanna make a change you gotta check your own brain,
If you're preaching about hate then you're only spreading pain,
Take the needle from your eye and put it deep in my vein,
Let me slip away to a spiritual plane,
Where demons care less about gender and race,
Where the King is impressed regardless of face,
or body space that you take, everyone is the same,
So tell me why, if we're all gonna die one day,
you choose your time alive talking trash to a grave?
Does it really make a difference? A significant change?
Does name calling ever end in a positive way?
Do you feel like a big man dishing out hate?
And when the tables turn can you eat the same plate?
Let's all leave the diner and move to the buffet,
True love, peace, zen, for a yen and some change,
Goddamn what I'd give to this world to escape,
Feet planted in the ground every time that I skate,
like 2 steps back for every one that we take,
People wake up, the world's burning cause you're letting it bake
And you don't care bout the melting pot when you're caught up in cake
