A couple of years ago I had some bad intentions

I was left leading with misdirection call me Usher this is my confession

A lot of pass aggression lead to this oppression that came out as transgression

I want you to know I was left in a state of manic depression

I was trying to let out some decompression before I ended it

Spent long nights in a dark shower trying to pull the trigger

Stressing with no money to even pay the gravedigger

You think I'm playing but I was drinking enough malt liquor to kill my liver

Each night I came a little quicker to death I guess I didn't have anything left

I couldn't bear to hear my new babies breathes

In my own mind, I pictured a violent death

Do I tell my psychiatrist I got into this entanglement when I really wanted was enlightenment?

I wanted to leave my offspring

Even if it meant using coil springs

I wasn't living any dream

Instead, it was living to the extreme

Trying hard to breathe my last breath

All I wanted was a dark death

I guess this is the way things had to be

I just hope you can see I've changed

No longer strange just trying to play the game

Trying my hardest to keep the wolves away keep them at bay

Even after everything gave way

I hope you can man up and walk through my doorway

I get it it's hard for a man to display his true feelings

I just wanted to let you know I'm just a few miles down the highway

We all got our reasons just keep playing the cards life is dealing to us
