Lyrical Analysis of...
No Love By StormTheArsonist
- 0:01
- Stepping into it, we agreed to pull back when it was time
- made agreements since we were both taken never to cross any lines
- but rules started bending and all those agreements started to decline
- ignoring the obvious pushed the importance of it aside
- we gave it a try, but it slowly changed that look in our eyes,
- the love battled the pride making feelings hard to describe
- and the failure to communicate kept everything inside
- the silence left the impression the truth was lies in disguise
- instead we're full of assumptions, and speculations on the rise
- while the trust in each other slowly dies, the change disrupts our lives
- I'm pulling out knives, surprised cause your actions are unrecognized
- having me paralyzed, in shock but I've stopped and realized,
- its to hard to justify, as problems continued to multiply,
- neither one of us is shy, to look each other in the eye and say good bye.
- our double standards are hazardous and don't apply to you and i
- we're to much alike, we're either making love or constantly fight,
- make love again like its alright, getting in the last word out of spite,
- the bitterness, i can taste it, yet i feel its all over rated
- its complicated, we got that mixture of love and hatred,
- and even thou you and your mans love has faded
- we take what we can and make it, when we could, we would take it
- we keep the titles separated, but the love and sex penetrated
- but neither one of us would dare to pursue it or elevate it
- continued and dated, trying to figure out the picture we've painted
- both of us naked, I got to admit your sexy when your frustrated
- a year past and we made it, and the beginning was my favorite,
- but all this changed it, and soon the positive was out weighted
- you've taken a pause and I've waited, friends with benefits and dedicated
- never replaced you while separated while the love escalated
- you returned knowing we cant walk away from this love we created
- its all designed to define how we keep things in line. we know the signs
- the warnings, when to text in the morning,
- knowing when to visit and the rules to calling
- limiting visits, and our hearts to prevent feelings from Morphing
- and look what its causing.... even though we've taken caution
- from the start we've limited our offering's, to avoid anxiety
- we love one another but just don't trust one another entirely
- thinking ahead with a variety of excuses to avoid any irony
- a insane rivalry, so we remained unseen to society
- everything we've done was unseen and done quietly
- as i look behind me, I'm noticing the withdrawals, small quarrels
- as you look for a way out the portals, I get it, I'm forgetting we're mortals
- and it made me blind to the battles your having within your morals
- where barely speaking has become the new normal
- since its been over, there hasn't been a day I've remain sober
- if i just have looked closer, maybe we could have closure
- instead were on a rollercoaster with ups and downs like a stoner
- unable to look at one another giving each other the cold shoulder.
- unable to be with one another as every second gets colder
- now we're older, and we still hold our ground like a soldier.
- i can honestly say.....you got your way.....its finally over...
- cause as I recall and look closer, I just moved on and kept my composure.
- while you ran back to him and I watched him hold ya.
- but now your unhappy seeing the exposure
- shocked, I know ya better then you think i know ya.
- when I warned ya and you ignored everything that I told ya.
- Hold up....and now you don't recall that talk ?
- "If someone can walk away from you, let them walk."
- no matter whos at fault, pop that cork,
- cause look what karma brought, here's food for thought,
- if it were real they would never had walked......
- REAL TALK!
