BUILDING BLUEPRINT
Next level lyrical insight is a moment away.
Lyrical Analysis of...
The Great Depression
- You'll never catch me lyin'
- But I'm speeding like cheetah
- Tryed to get in with the cool kids so I bought some Adidas
- I despise all my demons but I continue to feed em
- Maybe I should quit complaining and just try to defeat em
- Seems simple call me Ripley's because believe it or not
- That kid that never did much was still involved in the plot
- That kid that never spoke is filled with a passion so abundantly
- Making mistakes that he wish he could take back, so redundantly
- And sometimes it was funny!
- But my soul burst asunder
- And while y'all were chilling, thirteen, smoking pot
- My heart began to rot and started going under
- But I know that all my stressing was a blessing
- So that I can one day help a kid in high school with his own depression
- Knowing that God put me there to make a good impression
- Trying to separate myself from negative vibes like spiritual secession
- In order to avoid another Great Depression.
