The Great Depression
• Written by FearlessProphet
You'll never catch me lyin'
But I'm speeding like cheetah
Tryed to get in with the cool kids so I bought some Adidas
I despise all my demons but I continue to feed em
Maybe I should quit complaining and just try to defeat em
Seems simple call me Ripley's because believe it or not
That kid that never did much was still involved in the plot
That kid that never spoke is filled with a passion so abundantly
Making mistakes that he wish he could take back, so redundantly
And sometimes it was funny!
But my soul burst asunder
And while y'all were chilling, thirteen, smoking pot
My heart began to rot and started going under
But I know that all my stressing was a blessing
So that I can one day help a kid in high school with his own depression
Knowing that God put me there to make a good impression
Trying to separate myself from negative vibes like spiritual secession
In order to avoid another Great Depression.
