Lyrical Analysis of...
It's All Gone Now
- by the time the people i care about hear this i say that its gone
- they taunted me till i could no longer mourn, so i moved on
- the crazies and all the other memories that i have made
- could all be put together, but still wont pass me in a grade
- i was in the shade, hiding away, letting my life get away
- it was ricocheting this shit was spraying, and i was slaying
- the poon, but other rappers blood, i once flew
- i was up there, we all were, but its all gone now, so are you
- in '14 my mind was squandering in ways I call arty
- i still remember those days, you used to call me smarty
- cos i was smart with my words, and you liked that about me
- and it finally got me noticed, like somebody scouted me
- Sometimes you go stores and buy everything that you see
- well i had to put you back, and i didn't wanna be the one to leave
- but i guess that in life, sooner or later, the things you love you lose
- but that was already a big part of my life, so i don't hear new news
- a wise man told me that if one door shuts, plenty more open
- so imma take this opportunity, to get chances and hold 'em
- and own them, never disown them, but consider them golden
- cos one day you will wake up and they will be either lost or stolen
- and i dont know when the day comes, when i finally meet my maker
- my creator, but to him, im gonna be an undertaker
- he'll be shakin, its hell im waking, and shit that i am creating
- its death that i am dating, and with fear im rollerskating
- but these words that i spit, can get worse and thats not it
- theyre like a curse, what a dick, and when i hurt, i cant help but spit
- ever since the first time i used my voice against a fucking challenger
- lets just say, he didnt book anything at all on his calendar
- if i put you in my shoes, in two seconds you would refuse
- cos you would fail to use, the common sense to get through
- and believe me that is true, not just talking to you
- but to everybody who thinks they have it easy, step in my shoes
