The Last Note

I remember back when my loved one said its gonna be ok,
she told me she didn't want me to go but I couldn't explain why I didn't want to stay,
she got upset she would cry,
the next morning came the only word spoken was hi.
we couldn't talk we couldn't bond,
I text her saying sorry she took an hour to respond.
one month in our relationship was down,
thought I would never see her again but then she came around.

i took them anyway and lay there and fell asleep.
i made a big mistake my body began to float,
it suddenly struck i forgot to right my love one a note.
