Lyrical Analysis of...
Random Thought 1
- What I do with the life given to me,
- Decided by time since I was a kid, grown &seen
- That fate is a factor affecting whether I live free
- What mate I find and how we adjust to each
- It all started with just a spiraling leaf
- Fallen from a tree
- Fallen from grace despite my gentle pace
- Fallen from peace
- So now all I do is adjust to the scene
- Am I the director in my own movie
- Or truth be just the standby crew
- It doesn't matter what I do
- It's all an uncertainty
- How do we abide by these growing pains
- I feel like a constricted rat tangled by an aimless fame
- Everytime I walk in to this room or depicted cave
- I feel the darkness of my hollowed shame
- That all I can do in this body is build myself a grave
- That grave better be comfy cause I've seen better days
- Outside in this world we live in
- People expect the best sympathy, especially from kin
- It's all what we make it, and we made
- A society separated by failure, damn it's so lame
- That I must go to work always shaved
- Take drugs to go to a rave
- Or else I feel misplaced in this scene
- Goddamn I've fallen far from grace
- I was an angel and yet I came
- To Earth searching for a brain
- So I could understand what human's do and why they say
- The meanest things to eachother
- Why they crave pleasure and pain
- To overcome the sense of loneliness, yet so they behave
- And maybe I don't have a halo
- Maybe I am supposed to waste this pay load
- Of energy that I hold dear to my soul
- It's all just a big spiral
- Deep in side this dark cave I feel the cold
- Better yet I miss the old days once told
- Of a young kid who had the future ahead of him
- Dreamt of success, cooler visions, he was crippin
- He watched rugrats, had dope missions, was invicible
- For the world before him was limitless, his sight was biblical
- Once he fell he understood he was an imbecile
- Everyone was a goddamn cynical
- He felt isolated, broke as a criminal
- There's still hope for the sensible though
- As long as you keep true to yourself you'll never grow old
- You'll stay young as life unfolds
- Stay dark and lonely like coal
- Maybe one day you'll become diamond somebody will hold
