  1. I swam on the the swim team for seven years
  2. always loved the water, never had a single fear
  3. enjoyed the sun and soked up the raise
  4. never worried about the rules
  5. little did I know this was just a phase

  8. were all growing up so dam fast
  9. felt like I need to take on a bigger role in society
  10. make a difference ,heck yeah I agree

  12. time passed on and I got a bit older too
  13. got a little bit less insecure felt more bolder
  14. started becoming more aware of my surrounding
  15. noticed the lifeguards in the stands
  16. wanted their jobs, wanted to land
  17.  
  18. then time passed and gotta more older
  19. high school was landing just right around the corner
  20. wanted to make some money that summer
  21. didn't wanna sit around doing nothing
  22.  
  23. then I though back to what made me happy
  24. decided that life guarding was the best option
  25. so I went to the pool and got my application
  26. worked for a good month building up my resume
  27. spent my winter break getting lifeguard certified
  28. finally applied and got the job
  29. that summer was amazing
  30. work in two jobs
  31. Trying to move forward, though it never really stops
  32.  
  33. Now when I go to the pool
  34. i can't relax anymore
  35. start scanning for dangerous activity
  36. get into a different zone
  37. it's like automatic
  38. we were trained so well though
  39.  
  40. life saving skills are drained into are skull
  41. we know how to get everyone's attention
  42. stop the commotion in the pool
  43. gain control of all the patron who are really just fools
  44. I can also be super slick too
  45. check out the hot patrons in the pool
  46. we know what is going on too

  48. listen to everyone talking it sounds like a zoo
  49. i know when to make the call
  50. my decision making impeccable great to
  51.  
  52. will I ever lifeguard after high school
  53. sure if especially if my college has a pool
  54. in the summer it could be a way of earning extra cash
  55. so I'm not totally dependent on my parents and I have my own stash
  56. not gonna run out fast callin a dash
  57.  
  58. did I mention my new talents dude
  59. I am certified in First Aid, AED, and CPR too
  60. I notice the smallest changes
  61. have become extremely observant too
