Lyrical Analysis of...
CHEMistry
- Chemistry liberator
- Element operator
- Amazing flavor
- Dimitri made the periodic table
- in 1869
- it was a rough time
- Science was forsaken
- then a new force awakened
- no star wars, no car doors
- Just miles of riding horseback
- through desert floors
- Lookin for various colleges
- first one he went to got rejected
- they objected but check it
- his dreams in his head were projected
- soon his science would be perfected
- Finally went to Heidelberg and got accepted
- But it wasnt all that great, shortly after his mom went and died
- he wept many tears, cried and cried
- but he couldnt stop there he had came so far
- Got accepeted into college, the fight had already been won
- but the journey just begun, there was still tons more to be done
- Took a look at the periodic table
- said "i can fix it son"
- Broke elements into categories
- and even gave them names
- other scientists bringing false info
- he wasnt worried about their claims
- He created 7 different groups and changed the whole game
- When he presented his idea people thought he was insane
- others even called him lame, but couldnt understand the genius
- in his brain
- and thanks to him the periodic table can be used
- and we dont have to be confused
- we dont have to lose or be mentally abused
- just follow down the rows as i spit these flows
- Chemistry is complicated everyone knows
- But enough of the history we need to be makin it
- Knowledge we're takin it chemistry were embracin it
- and Group names theres just no mistakin it
- more to come in the next verse lets skip to chorus first
- what it is
- you know, we know
- what it is
- they know yall know
- what it is
- Periodic Table There it is (3x)
- Starting on the far left
- here lies the turf
- of the Alkali Metals and the Alkali earth
- Alkali metals come first
- running down the 1st row
- Then the 2nd row is you know
- Alkali metals tend to be reactive
- Alkaline earth too but not as much
- This is simple as can be im not speaking dutch
- Next comes the metals that transition
- you can remember them as the d block thats your decision
- They conduct electricity often, bound to be awesome
- They run all through the mid section, take note of this
- and your chemistry skills will be perfection
- The next group are the Halogens, the rows they react with
- the most are the first two, memorize them it wont hurt you
- cause theres only seven,
- and they're in the 7th row before the noble gases
- remember that and you might pass your chemistry classes
- but speaking of Noble gasses they're in the last row to the right
- not seven, but eight, and did i mention theres eight?
- With that little ammount, how can you possibly hate?
